About Beth Gittleman

Beth, a seasoned real estate professional and co-founder of The Catalyst Team at Compass, has been a driving force in the industry since launching her New York City real estate career in 2003. Her journey includes serving as an associate broker and playing a pivotal role as the Head of Sales and Development for a boutique brokerage in Manhattan. In this capacity, she dedicated six rewarding years to creating and building the sales and development division.

Beyond her real estate accomplishments, Beth leads a multifaceted life marked by creativity and organizational expertise. Not only has she co-founded a not-for-profit Equity Regional Theater Company and managed a dance company for a Tony Award-nominated director/choreographer, but she also brings valuable skills as a professional organizer, seamlessly incorporating order and efficiency into various spaces.

A proud native New Yorker and resident of the Upper West Side for almost 30 years, Beth is celebrated for her work with sellers, developers, and buyers. Operating under the principle of "Couch Karma," she ensures that every real estate transaction is characterized by the service clients truly deserve. For Beth, real estate is a people-centric business, and she infuses her work with loyalty, honesty, and a steadfast dedication.

An active member of REBNY, Beth served as a twice-elected co-chair to the Upper Manhattan REBNY committee. She is also a distinguished member of NYRS, where she held the position of Director of Education on the Executive Committee. Beth boasts a Certified Negotiation Expert designation and passionately volunteers when she can for various organizations.

In recognition of her outstanding contributions, Beth, as a member of The Catalyst Team, achieved a remarkable feat by ranking in the top 1.5% of real estate teams in America by RealTrends in both 2022 and 2023.
