I worked with Daoud Heidami, who was the most comprehensive and detail oriented real estate agent I've ever met. We live in Los Angeles and bought in NYC so we needed some to go the extra mile. We hired The Catalyst Team and worked with Emily Ackerman and Beth Gittleman. Could not have made a better decision in my life to navigate real estate in New York for a sell-buy transaction. They helped sell my apartment at best price during the Covid pandemic. They were clear about expected expenses, comps, and help position my property for the best outcome. At the same time they helped us find a larger dream property at an amazing value during the pandemic when good opportunities were being grabbed at flash speeds. This all took 6 months all together. The best decision ever.
We used the services of Emily and Beth to sell our 1-bedroom apartment to upgrade to a 2-3 bedroom. We met with a few brokers before and felt immediately comfortable with them, on our first meeting they came fully prepared with a full analysis of the market in our neighborhood, comparable listings, etc. We decided to work with them, and if I could give them more than 5 stars I definitely would. Everything was perfect: they were very always available, extremely responsive to our emails/texts. They also did not try to push us into buying something we were hesitant with (they were not trying to get the commission as fast as possible, but were genuinely looking for our forever home).
